A book coach is a writing mentor who helps you on your journey as an author. Book coaches can help you in many different ways and at all different stages of your career.

Some authors know they want to write but aren't sure where to start, some have a fantastic story or non-fiction idea but aren't sure how to execute it, others need help deciding whether their book is ready for publication and whether to pursue traditional or self-publishing.

Whatever stage your book is at, I can help; I've been through it all.

If you're here, reading this page, then chances are you already know the answer to this question. Most authors - no matter how experienced - benefit hugely from coaching.

Writing and being an author is, by its nature, quite a solitary profession and it's often difficult to know where to go next or whether what you're writing is any good. There is a plethora of information available online but sometimes it's nice to talk to a real person who can respond to your queries and doubts.

WHAT EXACTLY CAN A BOOK COACH HELP ME WITH?

It's hard to pin down an exhaustive list of what coaching can help you with because each writer is different. Mostly, I help authors:

- fine-tune their ideas (fiction and non-fiction)

- streamline their book's structure and plot

- assess marketability and sales potential

- talk through publishing options and advise on which route to take

- finish a manuscript by providing support and technical editing advice

- cope with the emotional side of writing, especially autobiograhpies and memoires.

HOW MUCH WILL BOOK COACHING COST?
